A new law will make HIV-prevention drugs known as PrEP and PEP available without a prescription starting in January in California. The state will be the first in the country to allow pharmacists to provide the drugs without a prescription, nonprofit organization Equality California said. “The HIV epidemic is still a pressing issue today — especially for LGBTQ people of color and folks in rural communities,” the group’s executive director, Rick Zbur, said. The legislation is a “giant step forward in getting to zero transmissions, zero deaths and zero stigma.” (📸: Getty Images)

  1. Hey guys I am a 14 year old producer from Asia🌍 really working hard doin it all on my own. it would mean the world to me if u like my comment so more ppl could notice it, check out my music I hope u like it Thank you and God Bless🙏🖤 @hussain_beats

  2. But everyone would need to take it all the time right? I mean, no one thinks they’re going to get hiv and the only way this would work is if you decide to take it all the time just in case, or better, if everyone decides to take it all the time preventatively…is that realistic?
