Hundreds of Jeeps flooded the streets of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, on Wednesday as an homage to Kendrick Castillo, the student who was killed while trying to stop a gunman during a shooting at STEM School Highlands Ranch last week. After his death, word spread on social media that Castillo was a Jeep aficionado, and more than 800 Jeep owners said they planned to drive in a slow-moving procession to honor the 18-year-old. “Kendrick Castillo died a legend. He died a trooper,” said a classmate. “I know he will be with me for the rest of my life.”
