LEGACY OF HON. (BLDR) DR. JOSIE OGEDEGBE (JP) MNIOB, ONE YEAR IN OFFICE.

In less than 17 months (1 year and 5 months) in office as the Executive Chairman Igueben Local Government Igueben, Hon. Josie Ogedegbe (JP) MNIOB, has achieved far more than what his predecessors couldn’t achieve in 3 years.
Some of the visible projects embarked on by The Chairman include but not limited to:

  1. Construction of 8 units Open Stalls (double row) at Igueben Market
  2. Construction of Two (2) Modern Abattoir at Idumogo Cattle Market Igueben and Ebelle Market
  3. Donation of Two (2) Nissan Frontier Van to Igueben and Ebelle police division
  4. Employment of over 25 volunteer health workers to PHCs in the LGA
  5. Renovation and reconstruction of Ebelle market phase 1 (Completed). While phase 2 is under construction.
  6. Ongoing renovation of dilapidated classrooms block at Igueben college Igueben and staff room with toilet facilities.
  7. Empowerment of over 80 youths after entrepreneurship training.
  8. Recruitment of over 80 volunteer teachers
  9. Provision of relieve materials for wind storm victims.
  10. Grading and sand filling of 11km Udo road
  11. Purchase of permanent lodge for Corpers in the LGA.
  12. Purchase 3 Toyota Camry (Muscle) cars for senior officers.
  13. Construction of 2 blocks of 10 units lockup stalls at Ebelle market.
  14. Purchased electronic appliances and office furniture for council Secretariat
  15. Payment of counterpart fund for Amahor borehole water project by CSDP.
  16. Donation of 14 seater bus to vigilante group.
  17. Purchase of medical lab equipment at PHC Igueben.
  18. Inauguration of civic center after over 10 years of abandonment
  19. Recruitment of over 150 vigilantes.
  20. Installation of 300KVA transformer at Afuda Igueben.
    21.Award of scholarship to Oyakhire Lucky a student of Igueben Mixed Secondary School.
  21. Adoption of orphan at Egbiki primary school Igueben.
  22. Organized computer training for staff.
  23. Introduced and purchase of Time Clock-in machine for staff (aimed at eradicating ghost workers in the council).
  24. Facilitation of over 12km of road project in Ebelle.
  25. Construction of underground water in all the PHCs in the local government area.
  26. Constant and regular payment of salaries to staff and teachers.

There IS NO DOUBT, IGUEBEN IS WORKING AGAIN…
