RT. HON. VICTOR EDOROR RECEIVES CERTIFICATE OF RETURN

Today, Wednesday, 27th March, Rt. Hon. Victor Sabor Tiger Edoror, received his certificate of return from the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, in Benin.

The event which took place at the INEC office along Sapele road, Benin city, was also witnessed by Edo state Chairman of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Hon. Anselm Ojezua.

Addressing the candidate elects, before handling their certificates to them, the Edo state INEC Commissioner, Dr. Emmanuel Hart,congratulated all the elected members and advised them to extend their hand of fellowship to all.

Dr. Hart said; ‘ …election is not war, but a game of interest to serve…I implore all the elected members to use their position to make laws that will benefit Edo people…’
Commending the elected members, on the way they displayed maturity before, during and after the election, the Edo INEC Commissioner advised the aggrieved persons to approach electoral tribunal to seek redress.

Responding on behalf of EDHA elected members, Hon. Roland Osadebamen Asoro, representing Orhionwon South constituency, expressed their profound gratitude to INEC over the way the election was conducted and assured Edo people that the confidence reposed on the honourable members will not be betrayed.

Speaking with newsmen after the event, Rt. Hon. Victor Sabor Tiger Edoror,
Member representing Esan Central constituency for the third consecutive time, and Deputy Speaker of the House, thanked the people of Esan central constituency for the confidence they have in him to represent them for the third time running. He reiterated that; ‘…before now, I imparted on all the Wards in my constituency, but this time around, my focus will be on villages..’ Rt. Hon. Edoror who said, empowerment of youths is another area of concern to him, added that, for him, political representations is all about adding quality values to the life of the people he represents. He concluded by saying, the wheels of development in Esan central constituency and Esanland is irreversible.
