A viral video from Japan aims to show how easily germs and viruses can spread in restaurants when just one person is infected. The experiment simulates the atmosphere at a buffet restaurant or on a cruise ship. One person was singled out as an “infected” person and a fluorescent substance only visible under black light is applied onto their hands, representing germs from a cough or a sneeze. At the end of the video, the participants are cast under black lights illuminating where the “infection” has spread.

  1. There are germs everywhere … Eating inside of a restaurant is not necessary but having a place to buy groceries is .. would rather order restaurant delivery versus sitting at a table right now .. pray everyone stays safe and operate on what is necessary

  2. It’s sad how millions went broke and loses their homes cause y’all decided that restaurants are the only place where u can get this virus from but not Walmart’s and whole foods and any other big company joint 🤦🏻‍♂️

  3. Why is is only restaurants with y’all?. The grocery stores are open, laundromats, schools! an infected person can touch ANYTHING OUT HERE! Nail salons, hair salons, AIRPORTS are still open. But for some reason restaurants are the problem 😂

  4. It may be possible that a person can get COVID-19 by touching a surface or object that has the virus on it and then touching their own mouth, nose, or possibly their eyes, but this is not thought to be the main way the virus spreads.
I’d be more worried about someone coughing into their hands then following them through an open container buffet. 🤮
