Amazon on Thursday pushed back its office return date until early next year amid a surge in Covid-19 cases from the Delta variant, making it one of the most significant delays yet in the tech industry. When they do return, employees will be required to wear masks inside the office unless they have shown proof that they are vaccinated, the company added.

  1. Lol at this point just say it’s going to be hybrid forever. Some people want offices, most dont. Just make everyone happy lol

  2. I work at Zillow and my team never goes back to the office now… seems a little more significant than 2022

  3. Yeah cuz it can afford to. Millions of people are starving because of lockdown affecting their business.

  4. The real workers are in the call centers connecting from, the drivers etc. The strategic super-structure doesn’t to be in the office 🤷🏽‍♀️

  5. Delays? Most likely not. I’m relatively sure Amazon has enough access to tech and resources for their employees to work from home. You know for a fact that this doesn’t relate to their most vulnerable employees.
