Covid-19 was the third leading cause of death in the United States last year, after heart disease and cancer, according to provisional data released by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The death rate from 2019 to 2020 increased by 15.9%, according to the report. Suicide previously was the 10th leading cause of death but was bumped off the list for 2020 as deaths due to Covid-19 climbed.

  1. Americans priorities are so backwards it’s laughable. Y’all will shame people about not wearing masks, but trying to get people to live a healthier life to prevent things like heart disease is now “fat-shaming” lmao y’all need to check your logic and your priorities

  2. Omg….we need to lockdown for cancer and heart disease too! Those stats are way worse than Covid….yet here we are

  3. The CDC also inflated the death numbers by 1600% during election time and only 6% of covid deaths were from strictly covid alone, not underlying diseases. Why don’t you mention that!??! Or how you locked the whole country down for the common cold!!!

  4. So you mean people who already had fatal conditions and COVID just made their fate happen quicker? You’re talking about those people who were an average age of 70? Oh yeah i guess that makes sense then CNN thanks for the info

  5. SURE..If heart Attacks & Strokes / Car Accidents / FLU / Pneumonia / Cancer ..ALL LISTED AS COVD19. Why wouldn’t it. Go FIGURE

  6. And, we still don’t know where it originated from! It’s a damn shame we don’t know the source! 👀
