Dr. Anthony Fauci, who has served under seven US presidents and has guided the national response to Covid-19, will soon be immortalized in a children’s book. Simon & Schuster is putting the finishing touches on “Dr. Fauci: How a Boy from Brooklyn Became America’s Doctor,” a book written by Kate Messner and illustrated by Alexandra Bye, which will arrive in bookstores on June 29. “There’s so much in his story that will resonate with kids today — riding his Schwinn bicycle around Brooklyn to deliver prescriptions from his dad’s pharmacy, playing stickball in the streets of a neighborhood where he learned to get along with all different kinds of people, and always asking questions about the world,” Messner told CNN Business.

  1. The same doctor who said we don’t need to wear masks and now tells us we need to wear two masks and wear masks even after a vaccination? Incredible

  2. Great idea for educating the kids at this time and demonstrating anyone can succeed. Very nice tribute to Dr. Fauci as well.

  3. I’m definitely getting this for my future grand babies…for now, I’ll be reading it ! 🤷🏽‍♀️😂🙌🏽 He had the courage to speak the F’ing truth and made it clear that he is a scientist not a lying, scheming politician!! The fact that he had to fight to warn the public and give us the facts/predictions will be embarrassing for generations to come !

  4. As a retired teacher, I can’t think of a more promising book that features such an awesome Scientist, and a man with so much class.
