EDO 2020: Ijaw women endorses obaseki’s administration, intimate challenges.

The Ijaw women living in Edo State has endorsed Governor Godwin Obaseki administration for second tenure in 2020, intimate the challenges affecting their male and female youths in reverine area of Edo state.

The women’s in ages of Izon Ibe women development forum made this remarks on Thursday as commissioners of youths and special duties Hon. Damian lawani play host at them in his office Benin city.

According to our correspondent jimoh ogirima report that the President mrs. Potoki Victoria said they are in commissioners office to throw their support and vote of confidence on obaseki’s administration and also strongly appeals to commissioner to use his good office to involve their youths in terms of employment and youths empowerment.

She added that government should not forgot their youths because they are all suffering saying non of their children has appointment in Godwin Obaseki government yet we must support him because he is doing well.

Others women who spoke include special adviser to the governor / chairman strategic planning and programs management office Mrs. Uyi Oduwa-Malaka commended the women’s for supporting Governor Obaseki.

Responding, the commissioner for youths and special duties Hon. Damian Lawani assured them he will make sure the governor brings government attention to the area, saying the first Lady mrs. Betsy OBASEKI hail from Ijaw he believed Governor will listen to their plight.

Hon. Damian Lawani explained why they need to support Governor Godwin Obaseki second terms, enumerated some of his achievements such as roads, education and youths empowerment among others.

He added that women’s are very powerful in politics they should carry the messages to their families for the good work of Obaseki infrastructural development across the eighteen local government area of Edo state.

They however urged commissioner to be focus, open doors policy and prayerful for his new appointment.
