EYM Founders Warns Divisive Agents to desist, Says EYM Leadership intact under Kingsley Ohens

The Founders and Board of Trustees of Esan Youths Movement has sent a strong warning message to divisive agents who are spreading fake news of factionalizing the great movement.

Speaking in a close door meeting with the Executive Council of EYM led by Comrade Kingsley Ohens, Chief Francis Inegbeniki, the Uzoya of Esanland and one of the founders of EYM declare a vote of Confidence on the Ohens led executive and commended their efforts in taking the movement higher from the enviable position they have placed her.

Speaking unbehalf of the Board of Trustees, the Uzoya warned those trying to cause disunity in the movement to desist else face the full wrath of the law. He said EYM is a registered entity with clear cut constitution, leadership hierarchy and tenure of office. That whoever has any grievances whatsoever should channel such to the Board of Trustee for redress. You cannot factionalize EYM” he said.

Chief Inegbeniki further advice the president and his EXCOs to remain steadfast in their programmes and projects to build on the unity, and progress of the Esan Nation.

Comrade Ohens, the president of EYM expressed great thanks to the Board of Trustees and members of EYM for the continued trust and confidence reposed in his executive. He went down memory lane stating that the said Stanley Oamen, a UNIBEN undergraduate from Uromi now claiming to have factionalized EYM is his friend but fond of always trying to cause disunity. Oamen made some rude comments on the platform which where against our constitution and rules of engagement thus leading to his exit. Instead of him to approach us amicably to reinstate him, he Oamen childishly went about claiming to have suspended me. How can one man suspend a person duly elected? Not possible. My advice to Mr Oamen Stanley is that he should learn to be civil and obey established rules. The highest decision making body of this movement, the BOT has declared a vote of confidence in me and my team. We will not be distracted, we shall remain committed to EYM and to the Esan Nation, Ohens said
