Gun manufacturer Remington has offered nearly $33 million to nine families of victims killed in the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre in a proposed lawsuit settlement, according to court documents filed Tuesday. In 2012, six adults and 20 children at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, were killed by Adam Lanza, who had earlier killed his mother, Nancy Lanza, in their home. The families of nine slain children sued Remington in 2014.

  1. Lmao why? Do car manufacturers give money to families who have died from getting hit by their cars? No.

  2. The money will never ever replace lives lost, but this weakens the firearm manufacturers for being complicit to a crime. Good to hear

  3. The criminal should be sued and give money back, not the manufacturer. Or I should sue Nissan for when this guy hit me!
