“I stand squarely behind my decision. After 20 years, I’ve learned the hard way that there was never a good time to withdraw US forces,” President Biden said about Afghanistan. But he admitted, “The truth is, this did unfold more quickly than we had anticipated.”

  1. Now that’s what I call a president, stood firm with his decision and explained clearly why he implemented it🔥

  2. I supported Biden in 2020 and I will support him in 2024, but this withdrawal is a catastrophy and he’s responsible for it.

  3. Y’all wanted them withdrew, but now that they are, y’all are saying they should have stayed ☠️

  4. He’s a 100% right. If anything, the past couple of days have shown us the country has always been a lost cause. Our boys and girls shouldn’t die for a people who’re unwilling to defend their own way of life. Afghanistan floorished under NATO occupancy economically, educationally and in terms of (women’s) rights and the Afghan forces just shrugged and went home. We should we care?

  5. Even if they stayed 30 more years the end result would be the same. Let the world see that American troops have tried their very best to maintain law in a lawless nation. God bless every soldier who put their life on the life..

  6. Afghan forces = 300k. Taliban = 90k. This shows their Afghan forces aren’t even willing to fight. The Taliban easily took over Kabul, facing no resistance. You can’t help people that aren’t willing. I pray for the women and children that might suffer under Taliban.

  7. As VP Biden ended the US engagement in Iraq. As president he limited our role in Yemen and ended the war in Afghanistan. He is the only president I’ve seen who deescalated or ended wars in my life. He’s made a lot of mistakes. Things weren’t pretty. But he’s the only president who’s sent his own kid to war since Afghanistan began. I understand why he was desperate to end the war. He knows what it’s like to send a family member to fight for nothing

  8. Where are the Afghan military? Where’s their dam president? Why do they need people fighting for them when they’re not ready to fight their own war ?

  9. Biden did something here Trump never did, took some responsibility. With that being said Biden made good arguments to his decision. Now it’s time for the U.S. to take in many Afghanistan refugees.

  10. It’s been 20 years they should have been able to defend their land by now. We can’t stay their forever..

  11. We’ve been there for 20 years. Our troops deserve to come home. Their government had 20 years to learn , grow and be ready for this.
