Lila Hartley, a seventh-grader, wrote to her school board asking them to require masks in schools. She’s concerned for her little brother and all children who are too young to be vaccinated against coronavirus. “We are siblings so we have our rivalries, but I don’t know what I would do if he died, especially if it was caused by a place that means so much to him, school,” she wrote to the school board.

  1. Yesssssss!!!!!! Stand up young lady…..stand up!!!!!!! The media wants to only show the opposite. Speak your truth!!!!👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

  2. No one deserves to feel vulnerable and scared about their loved ones being taken away from them. Please get vaccinated and protect your family and other people.

  3. This 12 year old girl has more sense than a lot of adults. Florida is breaking records for #covid cases and Gov DeSantis wants to send those babies back to school without mask mandates to play to his deranged, nonsensical base smh
