Manchester United boss leaves the door open for Cristiano Ronaldo return

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has opened the door to a potential return for Cristiano Ronaldo at Manchester United.

Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri admitted earlier on Friday that Ronaldo had asked to leave the club after three years.

All speculation since has been that the Ballon d’Or winner would join Manchester City.

However, Solskjaer has revealed that he would be open to signing the 36-year-old during the last few days of the window.

‘We’ve always had a good communication,” he told a press conference.

“Bruno’s been talking to him as well and he knows what we feel about him. And if he was ever gonna move away from Juventus he knows we’re here.”

Ronaldo was seen leaving Turin airport today on a private jet, believed to be heading to Manchester.
