Nigeria @ 60: Mercy Wave Foundation contributing its quota to Nigerian Development

In the last 60 years of Nigerian existence , various societal and political issues including the current global economic crisis caused by COVID19 have stifled the growth of the country , presently a lot of people have remained underserved and marginalised.

Princess Dr. Mercy Uwakwe, a Nigerian American medical doctor through her foundation and private philanthropy, has embarked on numerous projects aimed at helping the poor, underserved and youth empowerment.

With over 10 palliative outreaches organised across the country within the past three months, regular cash prize awards to members of the foundation, numerous scholarships already given, employment opportunities brought to the doorstep of various people, empowerment programs and many more.
The Foundation is gradually becoming a name to reckon with in the Nigerian philanthropy space and with many more in the pipeline.
