Obaseki’s Re-Election Gets A Boost In Esan Central Local Government Area.

A leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC)) in Esan Central Local Government Area of Edo State had unequivocally pledged loyalty to the second term bid of the incumbent Governor Godwin Nogheghaae Obaseki and his Deputy Rt. Hon. Philip Shaibu.

The decision to support Governor Obaseki’s second term bid was made public when the leadership of Obaseki Shaibu Movement was hosted by Prince Maccoy Shaka Momodu, a Chieftain of APC in Irrua, Esan Central Local Government Area.

Prince Maccoy, on behalf of his supporters declared that the odds are overwhelmingly in favour of Governor Obaseki haven performed creditably in office, coupled with the principle of rotation of governorship in the state.

The leader extolled Governor Obaseki’s humility in extending his hands of fellowship to the 18 local government area in the state and the numerous projects executed by his administration in Edo Central and beyond.

Prince Maccoy unequivocally praised the governor’s developmental strides and promised to support OSM in Esan Central Local Government Area.

A principal stakeholder of OSM and a former House of Assembly aspirant, Mr. Samuel Osezele (AKA Heavy D) who donated over 200 OSM customised face caps to the group in Edo Central Senatorial District extolled the leadership qualities of Prince Maccoy Shaka Momodu and thanked him for his support.

Esan Central Local Government Area Obaseki Shaibu Movement (OSM) Coordinator, Comr. Celestain Musa on behalf the movement commended Prince Maccoy for his stands and support for the re-election bid of Mr. Governor. He also thanked him for the warm reception given to them.

The high point of the event was the decoration of the Prince Maccoy Shaka Momodu with OSM face cap and other materials.
