One year after the pandemic was declared, one in 10 people in the US are fully vaccinated against Covid-19. At least 33.9 million Americans are protected with either a one-dose or two-dose vaccine, according to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Largely because of the pandemic, 2020 appears to have been the deadliest year in the recorded history of the United States — at least since 1900, according to early data from the CDC.
