Police finds driver of car who fell Alli Statute, as Emaudo Youths Reerrect Fallen Statute within 2 Hours before Memorial Service.

The car and it’s driver that fell the Statute of Ambrose Alli in Ekpoma yesterday night has been apprehended by the police in Ekpoma, the administrative headquarters of Esan West Local Government Area.

This was revealed to Esan.tv by Comrade Kingsley Ohens the President of Esan Youths Movement (EYM), who is in Ekpoma for the annual Ambrose Alli Memorial Celebration. Ohens first learnt of the accident this morning and quickly went for confirmation of the eye sore mishap. He therefore called on the Emaudo Youths President to mobilize his people to Reerrect the statute.

The Emaudo Youth President Mr Solomon Ese Sule in swift reaction called on the sculpture to Reerrect the statute and within few hours, the job was done.

In the same development, the Nigeria Police in Ekpoma has apprehended the driver of the said motor who fell the statute. As at press time, the statute is standing tall at the right position in preparation for the memorial programmes of the late legend.

Dr. Jude Obasami, the Chief Responsibility Officer of Jose Escriva Foundation was also at the spot to confirm the situation of things.
