President Trump responded to stunning testimony from the US ambassador to the EU on Wednesday, reading from a statement that appeared to be written in black Sharpie. “I want nothing. I want nothing. I want no quid pro quo. Tell Zellinsky to do the right thing. This is the final word from the Pres. of the U.S.,” the paper read. Trump’s statement came in response to testimony from Gordon Sondland, who said in the public impeachment inquiry on Wednesday that he pressured Ukraine to investigate the Bidens at President Trump’s “express direction.” Trump sought to distance himself from Sondland — a major financial backer of Trump’s inauguration who was later appointed ambassador by Trump — repeatedly saying he told Sondland over the phone that on Ukraine, he wanted “nothing.” (📸: Mark Wilson/Getty Images)

  1. I just viewed the video where Sondland said NO such thing. He used the word PRESUMED several times. Sickening how wicked CNN is at reporting fake and false news. We aren’t buying it.

  2. How fucking hard is it to understand that trump was isolating himself from criminal activity by placing Giuliani out front. Don Corleone had Tom Hagen, John Gotti had Bruce Cutler, the list goes on and on. It’s mob boss 101.
