Higher oil prices are not a panacea for Edo state. Instead, the state needs a new economic development model that re-thinks and reformulates key institutions without relying too much on federal allocation.

At a time like this, It will take a ready hand, strong administrative and political leadership to consolidate on the developmental strides of our Comrade Governor, Adams Oshiomhole in infrastructure, education, investment etc in Edo state.
We cannot fight poverty by giving hand-out, we can only fight poverty by helping the poor with what they need (the tools) to fight poverty. Growth is achieved by non-reliance on state politics and game-playing. That is, economic and financial managers should rely on sound culture of knowing how to use his acquired experience of on-the-job training to sustain growth through positive reengineering and reorganisation on policies, processes, systems, and bureaucratic structures in the state. Increased manpower development in the state that is measured on percentage level of productivity is what is needed to harmonise the short falls of economic build-ups and social blend.
The Building Block in Human Resources is an active ingredient of economic growth, in relations to, development or business and economy, business policy and human resource management, business and politics, trade and investment.
Edo state micro business activities requires the building block in human resources. This building block includes the blend trend of the organograms of politics that makes all citizens of Edo state a stakeholder by practice.
Having studied his credentials, achievements in the last two and half years as a Governor and his antecedents as Edo state head of Economic Team and capital market investment, I am standing on the conviction that GODWIN OBASEKI has the ability and mental capacity to transform Edo state in such a time like this and make her one of the Top Investment Haven and Destination for both international and Local Investors in Nigeria.
