There’s no vacancy in Edo Govt house — OSM Diaspora Coordinator.

AS the build up for Edo  governorship position begins to gather momentum, the Obaseki/Shaibu Movement (OSM) has made it clear that there will be no vacancy on the seat of power in Edo State till 2024.

This was made know by OSM Diaspora Coordinator Prince Victor Oyakhilome also known as Vicky Larg. He said this when he play host to the United States of America coordinator and members of the OSM movement on Sunday in Texas. “We have carefully gone through Governor Obaseki and Comrade Philip Shaibu led administration plans and performance vis-à-vis the resources at his disposal and context of Nigeria’s current economic and political situation, as well as in comparison with other states Governor Obaseki is certainly holding the torch higher”

“The list is long, ranging from exemplary security of life and property, agricultural and industrial transformation with  thousands of jobs, continuation of roads/bridges construction when most states  cannot pay salaries, institutionalization/modernization of governance, taking Edo towards fiscal sustainability by raising IGR 200 per cent; extending health and education reforms etc. The rest of the country is taking note as well: what with the various recognitions and awards. This is what Edo indegenes expects and deserves: that every governor should build upon and probably surpass his/her predecessor.

On delivering of good governance, Dr. Ernest Iyere Ahamioje who is the Obaseki/Shaibu Movement (OSM) USA said that; “Gov. Obaseki approach to governance has precluded Edo state from the recession- afflicted states. From the testimony of the workers, salaries, wages and pensions are being paid as at when due, while new road projects are being executed in the three senatorial zones of the state. The governor has awarded the reconstruction of federal roads and this run into billions of naira”. those who know him, Governor Obaseki has not shirked in his responsibility to deliver good governance and restore the glory of the enterprising people of the state since his assumption of office.

In a related development the State Coordinator Hon. Miracle Ogbebor in Ubiaja on Monday said that Osadebe Avenue remain the seat of Governor Godwin Obaseki and Shaibu, stating that the group support for Obaseki’s second term was because the state has witnessed silent revolution in infrastructural development. Hr said OSM would mobilise the people to stop the plot as demonstrated in the just concluded House of Assembly elections.

Hon. Ogbebor said Obaseki has demonstrated purposeful leadership and he has won the heart of edo people. Edo people will continue to support him to ensure that there is sustainability of the people-oriented projects he has embarked upon which are visible to all.

“OSM would continue to gavinze, mobilize support for Obaseki/Shaibu.

Edo State is not Lagos State….

No man is God….
