Tokyo 2020 Olympics is on & @amstelmalta is profiling 4 Nigerian Athletes
SLIDE 1: Meet 4 Nigerian Athletes set to take the world by storm in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics:
(Amstel Malta Ultra Official Sponsor of Team Nigeria)
SLIDE 2: Ese Brume- has been breaking records lately. She recently broke Ajunwa’s gold-winning long jump record, which has not been broken since 1996! We are excited to see what other records she will break as she competes in the first leg of the women’s 100m event on the 30th of July at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
SLIDE 3: Blessing Okagbare- has medals to her name already, including past Olympic wins! She is one of the two Nigerian women set to make it to the track finals for this year’s Olympics. We are up for watching her make history on the 30th of July in the first round of the 100m track event.
SLIDE 4: Odunayo Adekuoroye- is ranked the No.1 wrestler in the women’s 57kg category worldwide. We won’t like to get into the ring with her. Thankfully, we won’t be the ones competing with her on the 4th of August.
SLIDE 5: Tobi Amusan- is a strong medal contender who specializes in the 100m hurdles and sprint. She won the 100m hurdles event in the 2018 Commonwealth and the 2019 African Champion. Are we the only ones to notice that streak? We think she may add a medal from the 2020 Tokyo Olympics as she competes in the first round of the women’s 100m hurdle event on the 31st of July. Now, that will be an impressive three-year winning streak!
