Unilever, the owner of Dove, Vaseline and Axe, announced Tuesday that it will stop calling certain hair and skin types “normal” in an effort to be more inclusive. The company also said it will no longer “digitally alter a person’s body shape, size, proportion or skin color in its brand advertising, and will increase the number of advertisements portraying people from diverse groups who are underrepresented.” Businesses around the world have been increasingly rebranding in response to demands from customers to be more inclusive.

  1. So by dropping the word “normal” benefits who again ?…cause I guarantee nobody gave af before

  2. So ‘normal’ now becomes ‘not oily, but not dry’? We really do live in a society offended by….everything.

  3. Thanks millennials. Really sucking the life out of us with your “ dr suess offended me “ and rename all the Indian stuff because I’m 1/4 of 1/10 of 1/8% on my ex high school bfs sister in laws moms side. Waaannnn cry.

  4. All other companies should take a cue and remove “whitening”, “brightening” and “lightening” from body creams
